This is a photograph in my Macro/Close-up Series.       Macro (also "Micro") and Close-up photos enable us to magnify everyday objects so that we may see details that would otherwise go unnoticed to the naked eye.       What makes this so memorable is that I was using a 50mm prime lens on a set of extension tubes with my camera mounted on its tripod. This Dragonfly was alive and well, alert, flying around, the weather was warm, and he knew I was there...nonetheless he allowed me to literally get within an inch of his face to grab this micro! He sat still and patient until I finished my shots, I thanked him and he eventually flew off.       My most memorable Dragonfly is printed on a premium grade archival photo paper so that with care it will last for generations to come. In addition I use premium archival UV protective acrylic glass and acid-free foamcore backing. Your photograph comes complete, framed and ready to hang.
